Director of Revenue Marketing

We are seeking a revenue-focused Marketing Director to shape and run our growth engine in close partnership with Sales. The role plays a central part in driving pipeline growth, supporting new customer acquisition, and elevating brand visibility within our most important target accounts. This is a hands-on, player-coach role for a B2B marketer who blends strategy with execution. You will design account-based programs, strengthen our positioning, and build a lean marketing operation that uses technology and AI thoughtfully to scale impact.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Revenue Marketing & Sales Alignment

  • Co-design (in collaboration with Sales) and execute an account-based strategy for high-value targets, prioritizing deep engagement over lead volume.
  • Partner closely with Sales to define ideal customer profiles, target account lists, and campaign priorities that support outbound and deal progression.
  • Own pipeline contribution from marketing, with clear accountability for opportunity quality, conversion, and influence on revenue.
  • Build programs that support the full buying journey for services (credibility, trust, expertise, and differentiation), not just top-of-funnel leads.

Brand Positioning

  • Clarify and consistently communicate our positioning, value proposition, and proof points across all channels.
  • Work with internal experts to translate complex services into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with decision-makers.
  • Audit and improve our digital footprint (website, content, reviews, thought leadership, partner ecosystems), so it accurately reflects our expertise and strengths.

Marketing Operations

  • Build a lean, scalable marketing operation suited to a services-led business.
  • Establish clear metrics and attribution so we understand which activities influence the pipeline and revenue.
  • Ensure consistent execution across campaigns, channels, and content workflows.

Technology and AI

  • Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and supporting tools.
  • Expand/ optimize the practical use of AI to improve efficiency - content creation, personalization, research, and reporting, without sacrificing quality or credibility.
  • Maximize brand visibility and discoverability across evolving buyer research channels, including search engines, AI-driven research tools, industry platforms, and third-party sites.

Leadership & Execution

  • Act as a player-coach: able to set strategy, but also execute campaigns and programs when needed.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, setting clear priorities and standards.
  • Stay curious about our market and ecosystem, continuously improving how we show up to clients and prospects.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Strong background in B2B revenue or demand marketing, ideally in services, consulting, or complex technical offerings.
  • Proven experience working closely with Sales and supporting account-based or high-consideration buying cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology, analytics and AI-enabled tools; you’re comfortable selecting, implementing, and improving tools.
  • Exposure to modern SEO, content strategy, or AI-informed discovery is a plus - curiosity and strong fundamentals matter more than buzzwords.
  • Builder mentality: you see gaps and take ownership of fixing them.
  • Commercially minded: you understand how marketing supports deals, not just awareness.
  • Clear communicator: able to simplify complex ideas into messages that drive action.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you can build structure where little exists and iterate quickly.
