Data Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Defining and implementing scalable data architecture and build automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Developing workflows to extract data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, Google Sheets, Notion, etc.), supporting both real-time and batch processing.
• Establishing robust processes for data validation, cleaning, and transformation, and setting up effective data governance frameworks (access controls, monitoring, documentation).
• Working closely with business teams to develop structured, well-documented data models that empower BI reporting and enable fast query performance.
• Continuously optimizing data workflows and keeping up with the latest industry trends to ensure our systems remain scalable and efficient

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 3+ years of experience on a relevant role
• Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable data infrastructures (SQL databases, Data Warehouses, or Data Lakes)
• Proficiency in building and optimising ETL/ELT workflows, preferably using Python
• Solid SQL skills with a background in relational database schema design (including ER diagrams, indexing, and partitioning).
• Familiarity with API integrations
• Experience in establishing data validation, cleaning, and transformation processes.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices, including data security, access controls, and compliance.
• Exposure to cloud-based data solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, providing guidance on data accessibility and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic, detail-oriented mindset
