Here’s What You Need to Now

A new EU country on the Solana map

We have launched the first active Solana validator in Sofia, Bulgaria, adding a new EU country to the Solana map and significantly enhancing the network's distributed resilience and geographic diversity.

A new Solana R&D platform and testbed

This crucial infrastructure will serve as a specialized Research & Development platform and testbed for early experimentation with new Solana feature gates, driving innovation within the protocol.

A new step in expanding the Solana community in Eastern Europe

This is a key milestone for our Superteam Balkan leadership in Bulgaria. The validator directly supports regional talent onboarding and strengthens our commitment to community-building and educational efforts across Eastern Europe.

Infrastructure-backed client solutions

For our blockchain consulting and development clients, this means we are actively securing and improving the very network we recommend. We are ensuring a foundation that is reliable, fast, and transparent for all your future projects.

0% staking commission

To celebrate our launch and encourage community participation, we are offering 0% staking commission for the next 3 months! Find our validator at Stakewiz.

Guaranteed technical excellence

Our dedicated Solana engineering and R&D teams have achieved a max score on validator.app, a testament to our commitment to running a highly performant and secure node.

Here’s What We’d Love You to Know

We’ve shared the facts, but the question remains: Why now? Why Solana?

LimeChain’s Origin Story

Well, it has to do with who we are as a company and what LimeChain stands for.

You see, LimeChain was founded over 8 years ago in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the heart of the Balkan peninsula. And while we’re proud of our origins, to some extent we’re also defined by them.

“What does this have to do with the launch of a Solana validator?”

Let us elaborate. Geographically the Balkans are the crossroads of Europe and Asia, a border region where historically powerful global interests have often intersected, creating tension, and ultimately eroding trust in local institutions and organizations. So, it’s no surprise that the political term for the fragmentation of a larger state into smaller, often hostile, political units is known as “Balkanization.”

“Cool. But what are you getting at?”

The point being made is that we have a deep, experiential understanding of the profound negative impact of centralized fragility and the erosion of trust. When fundamental trust is compromised, economies face systemic challenges and social progress is inhibited.

That’s what we mean when we say that we’re defined by our origins - all the problems and challenges of our environment, however imperfect and flawed, provided us with the motivation to seek solutions and acquire skills to solve these challenges.

This is how LimeChain came about. And this is the fundamental truth at the core of our mission to build, explore, and expand blockchain solutions that create trust and value for leaders, organizations, and hopefully, society.

The Imperative of Building a Future of Trust

At LimeChain we are committed to solving this challenge of systemic fragility. The lessons learned from institutional trust erosion have become the defining purpose of our work.

For our generation, blockchain technology is more than a promise - it is the critical path to encode a better, more secure future. It provides the transparent ledger and the decentralized structure that minimizes reliance on single, fallible authorities. — Vlad Ivanov,  co-founder of LimeChain

Speed is of the Essence: Solana is the Vehicle

Among leading protocols, Solana stands out as the most efficient, fast, and scalable answer to the need for verifiable, high-throughput trust. Solana embodies the promise that fundamental, positive change can happen today.

By operating our own node, we directly contribute to the network’s health and its most critical features:

Decentralization

Every new node operated by an independent entity, especially one located in a new geographic area (like our Sofia-based hub), reduces reliance on any single point of failure. This is essential for protecting business systems against systemic fragility.

Transparency

Blockchain is a transparent ledger. By running a validator, we verify and participate in recording transactions, ensuring that the ledger remains honest and available to everyone.

Verifiable Infrastructure

The deployment and maintenance of a highly-efficient validator goes beyond promises. This verifiable piece of infrastructure is a strategic commitment aligned with the vision of the Solana Foundation to build the future of Internet capital markets - a global financial infrastructure where transparency, fairness, and scalability are embedded at the protocol level.

Trust in Consistent Action: Our Solana Contributions

Our validator is not a passive contribution. It is the product of eight years of blockchain experience and a team of over 175 consultants, architects, and engineers.

Here is a brief look at the type of hands-on work we do to advance the Solana ecosystem:

Developer Tooling

  • Gimlet - we developed a VSCode extension designed for step-debugging Solana Programs
  • Codama plugin - we created a plugin to generate mobile-ready Dart client code from IDLs.
  • Zest - we released a code coverage tool created to help improve Rust-based Solana programs.

Community Leadership and Talent Onboarding

We are actively leading the Superteam Balkan initiatives for Bulgaria, focusing on regional talent onboarding and educational efforts.

The Way Forward: Building Trust One Node at a Time

The launch of the first Solana validator in Bulgaria is a tangible and consistent demonstration of our commitment to decentralization, built upon eight years of experience. As Aristotle once said:

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

We are, aren’t we?

If you too believe so, we invite you to participate in this commitment: stake your SOL with us and expand the community by sharing the news with a friend who’s also into building wealth and good habits.

FAQs

What exactly did LimeChain just launch?

We launched a new validator node for the Solana network. Think of it as a dedicated, high-speed computer running software that confirms and secures every transaction on the Solana network. The more independent, well-run validators there are, the stronger and more trustworthy the network becomes.

Why should I care about a validator in Bulgaria?

It's all about decentralization and trust. Placing a validator in a new EU country reduces reliance on any single geographic area. It also makes Solana more accessible for research and growth in Eastern Europe.

Why did LimeChain choose Solana for this launch?

We view Solana as the critical vehicle of speed. It offers the most efficient, fast, and scalable path to verifiable, high-throughput trust, perfectly aligning with the institutional-grade solutions our business clients demand.

What is the 0% Staking Commission offer?

For the first month, we are taking no commission from your staking rewards. This means you keep 100% of your earnings when you stake with us. It's our way of encouraging community participation.

Where can I check your validator's performance?

Transparency is everything. You can monitor our validator's live status and performance at any time at Stakewiz by searching for our validator key: LimeNKYH66uR9BwnrPtxPbpqmkambxHVcutGoSaWPiq.

Where can I find your validator to stake my SOL?

You can find us on Stakewiz by searching for our validator key:LimeNKYH66uR9BwnrPtxPbpqmkambxHVcutGoSaWPiq

How do I know this validator is reliable?

We commit to high performance. Our node has already achieved a max score on the independent analytics tool, validator.app. This proves our engineering commitment to running a secure and highly efficient node.
