WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Designing and implementing modular, reusable, and maintainable code using Go
• Creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and performance
• Developing unit and integration tests for high-quality, bug-free code
• Managing code versions using Git, following advanced Git workflows
• Applying basic and semi-advanced design patterns appropriately in solution development
• Configuring and optimizing authentication, middleware, rate limiting, and load balancing mechanisms
• Integrating communication protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, and gRPC with ProtoBuf
• Structuring data using relational, object-oriented databases, and ORMs
• Collaborating on code reviews, providing constructive feedback for high-quality pull requests
• Participating in technical design discussions and contributing to architectural decisions
• Addressing technical debt and optimizing system performance proactively
• Ensuring complete test coverage and thorough documentation of delivered features
• Breaking down medium-complexity tasks and completing them with minimal supervision
• Evaluating trade-offs of different technical approaches to improve efficiency and maintainability

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Knowledge of common Go routine and channel patterns
• Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools – dependency management tools, router packages, web frameworks, etc.
• Experience and due diligence in writing high quality, well-structured code in multiple languages/technologies
• Appetite and capacity to keep up with emerging technologies & share knowledge
• Ability to work independently and deliver working products within deadlines – from empty Git repo to fully-deployed solutions in the cloud
• Agility and Adaptability – Web3 is constantly evolving, so being a quick-learner, embracing change and making the best of it is vital
